Kieva Campbell’s original abstract paintings use automatic writing and high-contrast colors and contours to reconcile the duality of mind and body. Layers of quick gestures and atmospheric forms illustrate an interplay of sensation, emotion, and cognition. Campbell explains that her method aims to create a “visual translation of the inside of the brain” and to “express the moods and tones of the physical self.” Campbell received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Pratt Institute. A California native, she works in both Los Angeles and New York.
Gazoo ToTheMoon’s paint installations, geometric tapeworks, and sculptures are heralds of creative transformation. They demand that eyes and minds raise up from the worldly and ordinary to the brightest lights and dreams of the night sky. His installations and tapeworks have been featured in renowned galleries and creative spaces worldwide. Raised on the Antillean island of Montserrat, Gazoo lives and works in New York. In 2017, his work was commissioned by Facebook and musician Steve Aoki, among others.
